We produce documentary and travel programs and pride ourselves on being able to complete all aspects of a production from script to screen. We have produced work for the ABC, ninemsn, compulsive traveler (USA) and we were one of the first Australian content producers accepted onto the youtube partner program.

Founder: The Overlander – Mark Shea

Mark Shea, Australian filmmaker

A one man crew who epitomizes ‘backpack filmmaking’. Has filmed all around the world, including a trip to Spain where he lugged 17 kg’s of camera gear across 760 km’s of mountain terrain.

Mark also has a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Psychology and Social Anthropology and has previously worked as a Youth Worker, in a prison and in the specialty fields of drug addiction and disability. He is a qualified workplace trainer having trained web design and multimedia production.

Some of the projects Mark has have worked on include:

*A music video for Rage, ABC ‘Beer Sandwich’ by The F#ck F*cks. Only gig to ever be filmed on the roof of The famous ‘Espy Hotel’ in St Kilda.

*a one hour documentary on organic farming,

*Australia’s first online travel video site, established in 2001 as ozdocos.com,

*an online doco about his hometown, Ararat for the ABC,

*a doco on the ‘Way of St. James‘, an ancient pilgrimage route in Spain

*a 20 minute doco on The Last Outback Boxing Troupe for the ABC

* A half hour documentary relating to the experience of African Refugees moving to Australia for the ABC.

* The ‘Meet a Local’™ series filming in Australia, Spain, Ireland, Vietnam and New Zealand.

*Currently traveling round the world exploring digital nomadism and making a passive income from online video.

* Set up 2minprofile a website that allows business around the world to use local video producers to produce business profiles, using a tried and tested formula for successful online video campaigns.
