We produce documentary and travel programs and pride ourselves on being able to complete all aspects of a production from script to screen. We have produced work for the ABC, ninemsn, compulsive traveler (USA) and we were one of the first Australian content producers accepted onto the youtube partner program.
We have a team of scriptwriters, cameramen and editors ready to work on your project from start to finish.
Founder: The Overlander – Mark Shea
A one man crew who epitomizes ‘backpack filmmaking’. Has filmed all around the world, including a trip to Spain where he lugged 17 kg’s of camera gear across 760 km’s of mountain terrain.
Mark also has a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Psychology and Social Anthropology and has previously worked as a Youth Worker, in a prison and in the specialty fields of drug addiction and disability. He is a qualified workplace trainer having trained web design and multimedia production.

*A music video for Rage, ABC ‘Beer Sandwich’ by The F#ck F*cks. Only gig to ever be filmed on the roof of The famous ‘Espy Hotel’ in St Kilda.
*a one hour documentary on organic farming,
*Australia’s first online travel video site, established in 2001 as ozdocos.com,
*an online doco about his hometown, Ararat for the ABC,
*a doco on the ‘Way of St. James‘, an ancient pilgrimage route in Spain
*a 20 minute doco on The Last Outback Boxing Troupe for the ABC
* A half hour documentary relating to the experience of African Refugees moving to Australia for the ABC.
* The ‘Meet a Local’™ series filming in Australia, Spain, Ireland and Vietnam.
Pete Foley – Musician
Pete Foley has produced the original music compositions for:
“The Around Australia Travel Series”,
“Returning Home – A Story of Ararat”
and “The Last Outback Boxing Troupe”
Pete runs a small recording studio, Peregian Music, on the Sunshine Coast.
JohnnyCakes Carbon Fund
Global warming from the increased CO2e (carbon dioxide equivalent) output of modern modes of transport, is a real threat to life on this planet.
I plan to work out the exact CO2e emissions from my travel, particularly air travel, and offset these emissions by putting away some of my profits, to plant trees.
The Johnnycakes Carbon Fund is named after my father. My father was planting trees on his farm well before it was fashionable. When I asked him why, he told me, ” It looks nice, having hedgerows along the fence lines ”
Anyway, his reasoning doesn’t matter, what matters is he was a greeny without even knowing it and in this tradition I want to do my bit to lessen my carbon footprint from overseas travel.
We have used Carbon Neutral to help determine my carbon travel footprint. Carbon Neutral will plant trees to offset carbon dioxide emissions and all donations to Carbon Neutral are tax deductible.
