A photographic journey around Ubud, Bali

As many of you are aware, I’m currently in Indonesia catching up on some editing. Yesterday I took a day off, hired a scooter and went out exploring, with the idea of capturing some balinese culture with my camera. Hope you enjoy the photos

Here are a series of photos I took at Arma Resort. The grounds are absolutely immaculate and a great representation of the Balinese aesthetic. The owner, Agung is a collector of Balinese art and their exhibition on the grounds of the resort is a fascinating journey through the history of Balinese Art.

There is some interesting stuff happening around Ubud – yoga retreats, permaculture gardens, custom motorcycles, psychics and healers.

Is there anything more pleasant than wondering through a #permaculture #foodforest

Some aspects of another culture may be quite foreign and confronting, like cock-fighting
